Description: Solidus Solutions wanted two films to showcase their packaging products, MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) and Skin. Their goal was to illustrate the exceptional versatility of their packaging, which can seamlessly replace traditional plastic packaging in existing machines while delivering outstanding freshness and significantly reducing plastic waste.
PROCESS
After presenting our treatment, we meticulously planned the project, starting with storyboarding to optimize storytelling within budget constraints. The challenge was to execute two shoots: one in a specific factory in Spain and another in a UK studio, where we recreated a homely kitchen, a supermarket setting, and tabletop animations. With M&C Saatchi's collaboration, we navigated logistics, even managing to transport packaged fish and meat from Spain to the UK.
Our dedicated team flew to Bilbao, capturing remarkable footage despite the challenging environment of a working factory. Upon returning to the UK, our studio shoot at Kitchen Studios presented new challenges, requiring us to make raw meat, fresh produce, and even a kitchen bin look appealing. Working closely with M&C Saatchi's design team, we crafted product branding, creating a versatile design for various produce.
Post-production involved editing at Broken Post, where the films were refined with graphics and subtle visual effects, ensuring a seamless and visually engaging final result.
