Plastic has become an integral part of our lives and it’s omnipresent. It’s Achilles' heel is it’s often single use. Sabic is working on revolutionising this. These films vividly showcase Sabic's significant contributions to our daily lives, from the inner workings of our kettles and fridges to the structural materials shaping our walls and the vital water pipes.
PROCESS
Right from the get-go, we recognized the need for a green screen shoot to place our families inside their CG blueprint homes. Armed with a handful of tangible props, we dove into the digital realm for everything else. Planning was key, considering we were crafting three identical films, differing only in family, language, and voice-over. Each sequence had to sync, from scene positioning to required actions and timings.
STORYBOARD
Storyboards are like our North Star, guiding us through the wild world of production. In the realm of CG environments, they're our secret weapon, helping us nail down the perfect lighting and camera angles. With every frame, we ensure what's shot seamlessly melds with the digital universe we're creating. We always turn our storyboards into animatics as a guide for timings. It means we can lock down those actions as tight as possible with confidence that the film will flow in the edit.
